Colorana Terms of use

The iPhone app Colorana (“the app”) is published by Claudiu Tigaroi (“I”, “me”), an individual developer based in Romania, in the European Union. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add the details below. If they conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies.

• The app gives style guidance about colors: a season, an undertone, a palette and Match scores. It is not medical, dermatological or professional advice, and it is not a medical device.
• Results are estimates, shown with probabilities. They depend on your light, your iPhone's camera, makeup, self-tanner, dyed hair and colored contact lenses. A phone camera is not a lab instrument, and a result can differ from a consultant's or another app's.
• Use your result as a starting point. The “1 or 2?” test and the live mirror are where you decide. Decisions about what you buy or wear are yours.

With no purchase:

• your season with probabilities, and your undertone
• the full “1 or 2?” test, including Friend Mode
• your 12 best colors and 3 to avoid
• unlimited re-tests, and the “I already know my season” path
• the share card and video
• widgets, Siri and Shortcuts
• up to 10 colors a day in the live mirror, and 3 Lookbook photos
• 3 checks with the Shop Scanner

Pro adds:

• the full palette (40+ colors, neutrals, metals and the full avoid list)
• makeup and hair color directions
• unlimited live mirror colors and Lookbook photos
• unlimited Shop Scanner checks for your wardrobe
• stability history

Pay once or yearly. Never weekly.

• Payment. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. With the free trial, Apple charges when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
• Free trial. 3 days, on the yearly plan only, for new subscribers. Apple decides eligibility. You can turn on a reminder in the app for 1 day before the trial ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Automatic renewal. Yearly plans renew automatically at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancel. Any time, in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone, or with Manage subscription in the app's Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Price changes. If a price changes, Apple tells you before it applies, as its rules require.
• Refunds. Apple handles refunds. Use Request a refund in the app's Settings, or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restore. Restore purchases is in the app's Settings and on the purchase screen.
• Lifetime with an active subscription. If you buy Lifetime while a yearly subscription is active, cancel the subscription in Settings so it doesn't renew.
• Family Sharing. All plans can be shared with your Family Sharing group.

• Point the camera only at people who agree to it. Friend Mode and the live mirror are for people who want to take part.
• Don't use the app to identify, monitor or profile anyone.
• Don't use it for anything unlawful, and don't try to copy, reverse-engineer or resell it except as the Standard EULA or the law allows.

Photos you take and cards you make are yours. They stay on your iPhone unless you share them, and I don't receive them. The app, its palettes, color names, texts and design are mine and are licensed to you under the Standard EULA.

I improve the app over time, and features can change. If these terms change, I'll post the new version here with a new date. Changes don't affect a purchase you already made.

The Standard EULA covers warranty disclaimers and limits of liability. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law of your country that can't be limited by contract.
